North Carolina Transportation Museum and Disney's "A Christmas Carol"...

Yesterday we went with some friends (the Davidsons) to the NC Transportation Museum. Disney's new movie coming out in November (A Christmas Carol) has this train that is traveling around the country before the movie's release. It came to our neck of the woods for the weekend so we decided to go.

There were a few stationary trains to walk through to see how the movie was made, see the costumes, and a computer thing where you could morph your face into one of the characters. That was a little freaky and we should be getting an email of those pictures.

Then there was a sneak peak in a 3D movie. They had some fake snow and some carolers to make it feel Christmassy.

Here is Luke and Will with their buddy Samuel...

Fa-la-la-la-la...

Then we went to the regular museum part and let the kids climb on the trains and all that good stuff...my big kids have been several times, but this was Bo and Noah's first time there...

Will with his 'favorite train'...

Lots of buttons and gadgets. Bo and Noah's dream...
Heading back to the car. Julia and Anna Grace too....

Best part: it was free. And we got to hang with some good friends.
I think it will be neat for the kids to see the actual movie after they have been 'behind the scenes.'
